As an Oral Health Therapist, Natalie performs basic dentistry, including fillings and extractions, on children between the ages of four and 17. She loves treating children in a happy and fun way to reduce dental anxiety and build confidence in the dental environment. She also helps to treat gum infections on children and adults through cleaning services, helping to prevent bad breath and potential loss of teeth. Natalie is also qualified in health promotion and part of her role is to educate patients on preventing oral health problems and maintaining healthy mouths.
Natalie joined the team at South Burnett Dental Group in August 2010 and has over 9 years experience as an Oral Health Therapist working throughout Queensland and in the UK. She is currently based in Kingaroy and also works part-time for Queensland Health. Natalie regularly attends seminars and advanced workshops and is committed to continuing professional development.
Outside of dentistry, Natalie enjoys spending time with her husband, Jay, and chasing after her son, Joel. She loves travelling, visiting art galleries, exploring new culinary delights and endeavours to attend gym classes.
Natalie is a member of the Dental and Oral Health Therapist Association of Queensland and the Dental Hygienists Association of Australia (Queensland).
